Gurugram, May, 2016:  Breweries, VIPs, abundant beer events and a week-long extravaganza of all things sudsy, Gurugram is all set to celebrate the first ever Beer Week powered by Zomato.

Never before has the buzz been this great, the celebration promises the rapid expansion of Gurugram’s craft beer culture, thanks to a slew of new breweries and the astronomical growth of the craft brewing industry seen in every corner of the city that has gained increased traction in the culinary sphere.Scheduled from 11th June to 18th June 2016, Beer Week is a 8 days series fuelled by events that will take place in Gurugram breweries to unite thousands of craft beer enthusiasts& food lovers for a unique tippling experience.

The carnival will touch over 20+ Breweries across the city with a variety of tasting sessions, parties and master classes in the art of pouring the perfect beer concoctions throughout the week with a clear focus on showcasing quality craft beer and educating beer enthusiasts.


Master classes specific to beer types such as barley, wheat, corn, rice and rye. Also, BW Beer Crawl is slated to be an energizing exploration of Gurugram’s night life with vibrant fellow pub-trotters like never before where guests will be able to mingle with the personalities behind the craft beers being served. The opening event would be held at The Brewhouse, Fortune Select Excalibur on 11th June 2016.

After 2 successful editions of Cocktail Week in Delhi and Mumbai, AMM Hospitality embraces this synergy by bringing together some of Gurugram’s finest food and craft beer pairings, partnered by India Bartender’s Guild, My Sprinterz, What’s Hot, Elixir Coterie, Counted One,, Dilsefoodie, Thirsty Monk, D for Delhi, Ola Prime, Goyano, Suburb Magazine, Exo Drinks, The Epic Pick, Fortune Select Excalibur and RJ Brewing.


Beer Week  participating bars include Molecule, Hops & Brew, The Brewhouse, Lagom Kitchen & Brewery, Manhattan, Vapour to name a few. Joining the celebration is the celebrity brew master Ishan Grover and many other who will be showcasing their talent at the Beer Week powered by Zomato.

Ishan Grover, from RJ BREWING a very early age, realized his passion for Beers and opted for the world’s coolest art of making Spirit. He ended up doing masters in Food and Beverage science, which broadened his horizon and expertise in Brewing and Distilling from International Centre of Brewing and Distilling at Heriot Watt University, Scotland. His objective is to create awareness about the art of Brewing and take the Craft brewing industry to the next level. He had started India’s first International Microbrewery in Gurgaon, Lemp Brewpub and Kitchen, which was the franchise of LEMP Brewing Company in St. Louis USA. Lemp was the first company to produce Lager beer in the USA.
Currently, Ishan manages a vast portfolio of over clients, including the Manhattan Group that operates 6 brewpubs in Gurgaon. He is consistently looking for a platform where he has the freedom of innovation and creativity to set trends in the beer market. He had created some unconventional beer styles for Indian market keeping in mind the Indian Beer palate.

In the middle of the popular sector 29 market comes the latest addition in the buzzing microbrewery circuit, BRONX The Brew Bar. Built over 4 levels the pub has a cellar like feel in the basement and very cozy indoor with open verandah seating on the first floor.
