The Highly Flammable Terrific 25 Menu Launch At Aanch

Hello my curvies!

So how many of you reading this are from Saadi Dilli, and more prominently how many of you live in West Delhi, or west delhi is accessible to you? if you just screamed in excitement, “Me, me, me”, then do not hold your horses as i have some news to add up to the fervour in your excited souls. Not just are you babellines blessed to be breathing in the vividly refreshing air of West Delhi, but you are lucky because you have the most hep cafe lounge in your vicinity. And what might that bistro bar be you may ask? Then that lovely place my friend, is none other than Aanch, the one located on the fourth floor of the Shoppers Stop Mall in Rajouri Garden.

Not only is the place uber cool to look at, it also has a very distinct fresh vibe to it. The place is divided into fine dining areas, lounges and all that sorts which makes it apt for all kinds of crowds–from families to party animals, aanch has something for everyone. Now some of you might be wondering what has ambience to do with convincing someone to visit a place. So in their defence, i would say that Aanch’s good looks and super pretty ambience is just an additional benefit to the total experience that the place has to offer.

With a super cool (read enormous) bar and a splendid new menu launching from the 1st of august, this place is surely to go up leaps and bounds. So what does the Terrific 25 menu exactly mean? The Terrific 25 menu, my friend, is an amalgamation of Aanch’s chef’s specially curated 25 dishes, which the team personally loves, and obviously has expertise over. So over a three course meal, you get to devour in a total of 25 distinct dishes.

And if the thought of digging into 25 different dishes wasn’t enough to make you lust after the menu, I would now name and describe a few to torture you all the more. Call me wicked, I call myself a foodie. So if you ask me to name the most innovative dishes from the menu, I would name Mango Chicken and Banana Chicken without thinking twice. Not are the names just too exciting, the mango chicken actually has ripe mango chunks inherent in it which takes the whole dish to a next level. And talking about the banana chicken, the tender chicken pieces (which for a fact, do literally melt in your mouth) come wrapped in the conventional banana leaves. How cool is that?

And talking about unconventional dishes, if you are a galouti lover, then you need to try their Galouti Golgappas which are golgappas filled with minced galouti and freshly chopped condiments. If there is one word to describe them, it would be YUM! Even the veg starters, especially the lemongrass mushrooms and the masala paneer paav, are more than extraordinary, they are relish.

In the main course you get to dig into west delhi favourites, namely Butter chicken, balti murg, daal makhani and a not so conventional creamy white gravy mutton, which honestly did not cater to my spicy chicken loving palate. Although I love non veg food, I can die for their shahi paneer and mirchi parantha combo. Quite literally. Coming to the deserts, for now they only have coconut cigar rolls with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. Though I am personally not a fan of coconuts and did not like the desert much, but yes, it did tasted super smooth in terms of flavours.
