Wearing Lace Insert Dresses On A Curvy Budget Ft Sammydress

blog 3

Hola curvies!

So earlier today I posted a picture on the gram and so many of you messaged me saying that you wanted to see the complete outfit! Firstly, I am really humbled to see so many of you actually appreciating my work and wanting to see more of me! And guess what, I thought of doing a brand new post on the complete look today itself. So much for the love of my readers. <3

A lot of you know how I have been featuring so many clothes from the plus size clothing lines of Dresslily, Zaful, Sammydress and Nextmia; and this post again is a plus size dress feature from my favorite (and the most affordable brand) Sammydress. As a plus size woman especially in India one might feel very claustrophobic especially when it comes to fashion and fashionable clothing. And talking of plus size clothing, Indian markets can be a bit pricey as if clothes which come in bigger sizes are for some aliens. Weird, sad and true!

So keeping the Indian clothing woes aside, many e-clothing lines like Sammydress have come up with a very vast, and super economical plus size clothing line and today I am wearing one of the dresses from their collection. It is their bell sleeve lace insert dress in a very pretty suede desert rose color which has the most flattering fit for any curvy silhouette. With a super gorgeous slinky fabric and A-line cut with such delicate and feminine lace details, this dress is bound to make any curvy figure look super gorgeous.

So to start off, the dress is made of a spandex and lace material with jewel neck and super pretty lace-y long bell sleeves. The dress ends just at the beginning of the calf which is the most flattering length for a short dress for plus sizes. You ask why? Because if you have thick thighs (like me) and the dress ends above the knees, you know it is the recipe for trouble. Alternatively, if you have thick calves (again, like me) and the dress ends mid-calf, which is generally the thickest part of the calf; the calves can look even broader which is not a very flattering look.

Same goes for the arms the thicker the arms, the longer the sleeves. And this dress has a gorgeous bell cut at the sleeve ending making the slimmest part of your wrist look even more flattering.

Keep in mind that this dress has a pretty low cut which is covered by a lace insert of the corresponding color making the cleavage sneak through it but in a classy peek-a-boo way. Also, the dress is a typical A-line fit and flare dress but without a belt to cinch the waist in. But this does not hamper the cinching ability of the dress and it fits super snugly at the waist without looking like your chest will explode. Such class, much wow.

I simply paired it up with a super clean and ever-classy black Michael kors bag, my favorite black pumps and a deep wine lip from Oriflame The One Range In Soft Mulberry.

How do you plan to style this super gorgeous and flattering suede rose dress from Sammydress?
